My Skin Story
For nearly all of my teenage years and well into my twenties, I had always battled breakouts. My skin is oily, acne-prone and you could definitely tell. Between scars and scabs, I was constantly self-conscious and rarely went without wearing foundation.
The interesting part was I have always loved skincare. Taking care of my skin from an early age was always important to me, oh and I was always trying to clear up my skin. The issue… nothing seemed to work. It wasn’t until I was 21 and prepping for our wedding that I finally really started to splurge and buy high-end products. I remember walking into Sephora and spending hundreds of dollars with the hope of something making a difference. I was doing all the research, watching all the tutorials, and listening to the beauty experts.
Since then, my skin has gone through its fair share of ups and downs but most recently I have fully embraced my 30-year-old, aging skin. It has been months since I lathered up in foundation and my skin has never been happier.
I also wanted to share a beauty brand that I have absolutely fallen in love with and have completely switched my entire skincare routine. With clean ingredients and fragrance-free, Dime Beauty has the best products I have ever tried. My skin just drinks it up.
I wanted to share a few of my favorite products here, but know… I haven’t tried a product from them that I didn’t love.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum: You will not catch me without this serum. It was the first product I ever tried nearly two years ago now and I have not stopped using it!
Dewy Day Cream: I have tried so many moisturizers over the years and nearly all of them left my skin feeling even more oily. This one has been such a sweet balance for my skin.
Those two are my morning must-haves. Next is my evening routine (along with others).
Hyper Glow Serum: I use this before moisturizer for a healthy glow in the morning.
Restorative Night Cream: This is a new addition to my evening routine as we are approaching the dry winter months around here. I’ve never found a deep hydrating moisturizer I have loved but so far this has impressed me.
